Get Global soars high after another successful year

Get Global delivered on its third year at ICC Sydney last week, with over 340 registered buyers and 120 exhibitors from all over the world. Additions such as the Saxton Speakers showcase, a refreshed floorplan and extended media engagement program helped deliver 40% new product to the buyers, representing a strong growth in exhibitors.

Inaugural GET Global Hailed a Triumph

The inaugural GET Global outbound MICE tradeshow held at the ICC Sydney on 28 July has been hailed a triumph as 120 exhibitors showcased a diverse range of products, destinations and experiences from 20 countries to 240 buyers. Over the course of the one day event the 2200 sqm show floor was abuzz with conversations as 1320 connections were made between buyers and exhibitors.

GET Global's fresh new format was based on the organizers active involvement in the MICE industry combining their unique insights and personal experience with industry consultation to set Get Global apart from the traditional trade show model.

Co-founders Gary Bender and Donna Kessler said their goal for GET Global was to assist international companies and suppliers in achieving sales results while building outbound MICE travel opportunities.

They were delighted with the support and feedback received from the industry thanking their partners, the buyers and exhibitors for contributing to the success of the inaugural event.

Get Global, Australia's first one-day MICE business event dedicated exclusively to outbound product, today made the exciting announcement that The Incentive Conference and Event Society Asia-Pacific (ICESAP) will join Get Global as Exclusive Association & Education Partner.

ICESAP is the new peak body for the Incentive, Conference & Event industry across Asia-Pacific. Their aim is to bring corporates, industry professionals and suppliers together in one industry body. Members will benefit from professional development and education networking events, new product launches, idea sharing and an annual conference and excellence awards held across the Asia-Pacific region.

Get Global Supports Next Gen of Event Profs

Further supporting its position as the leading MICE trade

students from the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS).


The Event Management students will gain first hand knowledge of working on the inaugural
outbound trade event at the International Convention Centre this July. They will assist with not
